So Nick is coming over to Normandy this year and I'll be joining him. We're looking at re-tracing some of the areas that Fox company fought in. Hopefully finding some old fox holes, match up photos, locate individual landing areas and generally find the areas where everything happened. With help from Terry's book it should be pretty damn interesting. We're going to take photos and keep notes so as we can do a write up on the trip and post it on here afterwards. Nick will also be coming to England afterwards and we'll be looking around some old 8th Airforce airfields so we'll include a bit about that as well.
So stay tuned for an After Action Report!

Great work, Fletch. I'm excited to see what you two put together. You'll hear me chime on about this for days, but this unit is about more than just recreating mock battles.

Enjoy the history! Walk the ground gives you a whole different view of the battle and the men who fought there. Think you may be saying "son of a bitch, how'd they do it?" a lot. View of Korea change forever when I made the trip over with a group of 187th Paratroopers, years ago. That is so very rough country and had to be a real bitch jumping into!
Reason why we do what we do!
