Hey guys!
Chris Bennett here. I'm finally getting on board the forum here. Just for reference, since its been a while, I'm the guy how brings the tri tip and rolls in with the big guy, Trevor. Im looking forward to seeing the guys who will be making it out this weekend!
1) Name, Age, and Location.
Chris Bennett, 35, Santa Maria CA
2) How did you hear about Fox Company, 506th?
Trevor Hutton brought me in to my first event with Fox Co.
3) Do you have any reenacting experience? Have you done World War II reenacting before?
I have done three reenactments and completed my probationary period with Fox Co. 506th.
4) Why do you want to join our unit? What drew you to us instead of some of the other Allied units in the CHG and RPS?
I enjoy being part of this unit because its members and leadership do a fine job at representing the legacy of WWII paratroopers and the high standards in which they were held. The organization, camaraderie, and unit cohesion is evident at every event.
5) What knowledge do you have of the Second World War? Are you familiar with the roles of the American paratrooper?
I have a good general knowledge of the Second World War. I am very familiar with the roles of the American paratrooper having been one in the 82nd Airborne Division 2007-2013. AATW!
6) Have you had any contact with World War II veterans previously?
I have. I enjoyed speaking with customers that were WWII veterans when I was a grocery clerk. Unfortunately, I dont see to many of them anymore.
7) What can you bring to this unit? Will you be an asset?
I bring the meat. And a positive attitude and mentorship to younger recruits interested in the airborne way of life.
