At my first event, of my own I had: garrison cap, jump boots, tea-stained t-shirt. I borrowed the rest from the unit's loaner gear
Tip: start breaking in your jump boots now, they take a very long time to break in and this doesn't come without discomfort

So i got my jump uniform and jump boots, but i dont think ill have everything else by the next event, at most ill have my helmet or webgear, is that ok?? Give me a list in a PM of what you will need and what you have Use the forum equipment list to understand the basic gear Pay attention to the requirements of the next event based on scenario and year of the the war As an FNG the M42 jacket and trousers, along with jump boots, will be allowed until you can afford the M43s and double buckle boots (don't purchase them yet) You may be able to borrow an M1, however if there isn't one available you will most likely go as a medic, which is a great learning position in the unit If you post up on the forum for a loaner M1 and get one, make sure you order some blanks in time for the event We have a list of vendors for that as well Good luck and remember to stay up on the forum, read as much as you can, and feel free to post up or PM any questions you may have Sgt. Are guys not getting their jump boots from ww2 impressions anymore? Should I get the helmet with the stencil or wait and do it myself? It sounds like you guys like 'em hand painted

Most of us got boots from atf or other online sources. WW2 imp has them as well. As far as helmets go do not get the pre painted ones. Get the plain helmet. We have stencils that are more correct in size and shape.
